In My Mailbox (23)

5:00 PM

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren where we share any new books or goodies we bought, received, borrowed, etc. during the week.

This week I got...

Received for Review:
  • ARC of Afterlife (Evernight #4) by Claudia Gray
  • ARC of Awaken by Katie Kacvinksy
  • Clarity (Clarity #1) by Kim Harrington
  • Strings Attached by Judy Blundell
The ARC of Awaken won't be in my hands for too long but I'm really excited to read it... it's going to be part of something that's kind of hush hush for now but I'm sure you'll soon be hearing about it in the upcoming weeks. For now, I'll just thank Danya from A Tapestry of Words and Casey from The Bookish Type for sending it along to me!

I'd also like to thank HarperCollins for sending me Afterlife and Scholastic Canada for sending me finished copies of Clarity and Strings Attached!

Bought:
  • Desires of the Dead (Body Finder #2) by Kimberly Derting
  • The Espressologist by Kristina Springer
  • The Locket by Stacey Jay
  • Haven by Kristi Cook
  • This Side of the Grave (Night Huntress #5) by Jeaniene Frost
I was telling myself I really shouldn't buy any more books this week but that all went down the drain when I learned some books which I really wanted were out in stores a few days early! And then, of course, I just had to pick up some other books I've been really looking forward to reading while I was at the bookstore!

What about YOU? Any new reads/finds this week?

And as always... Happy Reading!!

  1. Yay! So happy to see Awaken safely arrived. And LOL I guess it has been kinda hush hush, hey? But there should be an announcement about it later today actually, so keep your eyes peeled for that :D

And hope you enjoy all those books! I've heard some good things about Desires of the Dead and I know Clarity and Haven have gotten a lot of buzz, so it'll be interesting to see what you think of them.
